Teaching

Leandros Taliotis is a dynamic and enthusiastic singing teacher with twenty-five years’ experience. He has a thriving private singing practice based in his home studio in London and currently holds positions at St. Benedict’s School, Ealing and Woodbridge School, Suffolk. Recently he was engaged to adjudicate the final rounds of Mill Hill School’s singing competition; an enjoyable experience which he hopes to repeat elsewhere.

Passionate, caring, creative, and a master technician, Leandros saw me through a very tricky patch in my early career, giving me confidence, much greater physical freedom, and amazing repertoire ideas! I can’t recommend him enough!
— Philippa Murray, Soprano
Leandros brings a bright and enthusiastic spirit to the singing department at Woodbridge School. He is clearly passionate about nurturing and encouraging young singers and I love having him in my team. He’s a skilled practitioner with considerable experience and that shows in the engagement of his pupils.
— Claire Weston, Soprano, Head of Singing, Woodbridge School
Leandros is an excellent singing teacher. He has a beautiful baritone voice himself and he can definitely ‘walk the talk’ by demonstrating the theory in practice in a very impressive way, coupled with a subtle way of pointing out an improvement area, always preceded by encouragement. I learned a lot from him, especially the soft, intangible, sometimes metaphorical way of understanding what goes on in one’s throat and abdomen. Singing involves using muscles that we don’t see and not sure how we flex them to produce specific sounds. If anyone can throw light on how this is done, it is Leandros. Among his unique strengths are his ability to find analogies in a creative way and his ability to demonstrate perfectly the correct way of singing a piece.
